We could sit around at the bar for an hour and a half before kids, but that doesn’t work now with timing a babysitter. So, we haven’t been able to visit inyears! Update responding to owner: High demand is exactly the reason a restaurant would permit reservations. I.e., I don’tneed a reservation when the place is empty. So, I respectfully request you change your policy to permit those of us with kids toenjoy your otherwise-wonderful establishment.

The unimpressive food was not really Mexican it was Mexican re imagined. No chips on table when you walk in; the chips you pay for are cold, not warm and fresh. The first open faced burrito I have ever seen. Chicken in enchiladas wasdry, but the enchiladas verde sauce was tasty. The meat in the street taco was surprisingly flavorless. No proper Mexicancream or cheese for the sides (particularly for the black beans). Cocktails are brutally overpriced compared to the surroundingcommunity, and they were not particularly well mixed. I would expect this meal for 1/3 the price, or I would expectsignificantly better food for the price. Nothing was particularly bad, but there is zero chance I would recommend or return.

The drinks were the bomb, not watery at all, the queso was amazing, and the enchiladas were to die for. Don't walk, but run down for happy hour!
