We finally got to visit the new location (Granby St just before the Riverview bridge) and we love the space. The inside is upscale casual with some cool eccentric pieces (like an elk horn chandelier). We sat in the bar area at a high top. We were near the kitchen and no issues with smoke or noise levels. Our servers were great and made sure to be considerate about their recommendations and pairing options. We started with the shishito peppers and tuna Crudo. Both were on the daily special menu and did not disappoint. The shishitos came with a deviled dipping sauce that was fantastic. For entrees we go the Butchers Cut (NY strip) and the Braised Short Ribs with elote veggies. The only thing I would change is adding a less salty side with the braised short ribs and elote veggies, it was delicious but a bit over salted. For dessert we got the corn pudding and it was insane! Not too sweet with a big dollop of whipped creme *chefs kiss* We can't wait to come back!
After seeing this place ranked #61 on Yelp's national Top 100 Burgers list, I decided to stop by as it was conveniently located nearby. The parking situation was a bit challenging with a small lot and limited street parking, so be prepared for that. However, once inside, the ambiance was really nice. I sat at the bar solo with a mission to try their renowned burger. While waiting, I enjoyed a cocktail and a beer, and the bartender was friendly and gave great recommendations for other places in the neighborhood. The burger itself was simple but incredibly delicious, easily the best I've had in a while. Although it didn't come with fries, my initial disappointment was quickly forgotten after the first bite. I also saw the cornbread pudding being served to another diner, which is now on my list for my next visit. I'm looking forward to trying more of their dishes as I believe they can only get better from here!
