Their drip coffees and hand poured are some of the best in the area. The facility is wonderfully redone warehouse style. Parking is always tough so be sure you’re not parking in a tag lot or fire lane. Their cortado is traditional and very well done. Open and clean this coffee shop is an excellent place for a meeting or just to get some work done. Their music is also the correct volume not too loud or too soft. View all feedback.
What Chelsea doesn't like about Coalescence Coffee Company:
My favorite coffee shop in Norfolk. Coffee is really good. However I don’t like however feeling obligated to tip on a cup of coffee when they don’t even serve food. The employees should be getting a living wage. One time I didn’t tip on a cup of coffee they made me wait an hour to get my drink while they served everyone else. Haven’t been back since. I had the BEST experience today. CUSTOMER SERVICE 10 Chris was the barista I hope that 's what they call them? Anyway, I ordered one of their specialty drinks and it wasn 't quite what I had in mind, but it was good, just different. I mentioned it to the cashier and Chris offered to make me something else but I said no pbecause it wasn 't that the drink wasn 't good, just not what I expected. I went to sit down with my friend and Chris came back to me and offered to make me something else on the house. We were shocked. I had already finished my 1st drink. But he said he wanted me to have something that I really enjoyed. He made me a drink akin to a Starbucks Frappuccino and it was EXCELLENT! Ask for CHRIS if you ever stop by. Tall, handsome White guy. LOVE this place. Beautiful mission, gorgeously decorated, superb customer service it 's definitely a vibe. I 'll be back for sure! Original drink was the Kind of Blue it was tasty, I just wanted something sweeter and larger.
Want a great start to the day? Go. Order coffee and feel the love.
Spacious open concept coffee shop with quiet(er) work area when event space is not rented out. Excellent coffee.
