Chef's Kitchen Cocktails - Norfolk

Great restaurant. I was initially skeptical, as it had only 10 reviews, but my man and I enjoyed the food readiness of kaylas recommended.

The food is really good, environment was very nice, I had no problems with that.. only thing was our waitress barley checked up on us we waited about 45mins-1hr for our food.. which I understand that the food takes time to cook.. but a couple got their meals before we did we sat before them.. the price was about what I expected but I didn’t realized that they take an automatic 20% gratuity.. like what if I didn’t think that our waitress didn’t deserve the 20% but maybe 10-15%? That part I didn’t like.. I talked to a few other people about it they agree. Overall I’d come back for the food, just I think they should fix that part of the restaurant.

Let me start by saying I am picky and very hard to please! However, I thoroughly enjoyed Chef’s Kitchen from the moment I walked in! The aesthetic was to good! The black velvet benches and pop of yellow in the chairs grabbed my attention. The paintings of artist like Ray Charles, Prince and Future commanded my attention! The staff from the hostess to servers were welcoming and made you feel like you were appreciated! The food was DELICIOUS and the cocktails put you right where you want to be!! To top it off they had the music playing softly but enough to make you sing along. I will be returning for happy hour and date night!!! Thank y’all so much for bringing great food and ambiance together!!

The ambiance of the restaurant, the attentiveness of the staff, the food flavors, the drinks are my reasons to add the Chefs Kitchen to my favorite list. Will definitely go back.
