We bought Ciabatta bread, had to be the lightest we have ever bought, went back for more, even made me a loaf specially as it was not there loaf making day. Can't get better than that. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Hot Krust Bakery:
Baking fresh bread daily. Range of cakes and pastries seems to depend upon what supplies are available and what the baker decides to cook. Whatever we purchased from here was fresh and tasty but what was available one day may not be available for several more days. View all feedback.
Visited the bakery on a few occasions over the week were staying on the Island. The apple plate was the best I've ever had. Great selection of bread and pastries and very reasonable prices
EVen though the proces were a little hhiger that I was used to, given we are a=on Norfolk Ilsnad I was expecting that. Fresh and tastey, what else can you say. Not open very long hours, but anhthing that is left is usually in the Foodland supermarket.
Best pies ever, especially the mince and cheese. sausage rolls the apple pies and lamingtons are all good
In the mall area next to Foodland, the bakery has all sorts of goodies. The sour dough bread was particularly good
The restaurant is clean and the staff are friendly. The bread is delicious and the pies are exceptional, with a great variety of flavors. I didn't try the cakes, but they looked appetizing.
