When we walked in we were immediately greeted with a friendly welcome and seated right away. The staff was very friendly and attentive. We had the milky way shrimp, black dragon roll, the tempura udon bowl, and a sushi burrito. All were so fresh tasting with complex flavors that were exactly what we were looking for. This restaurant offers a fresh twist on the traditional sushi bar experience. The staff is incredibly friendly—our waitress, Sunny, truly lives up to her name. The atmosphere is casual, and the outdoor seating is perfect for enjoying the cooler weather. My son mentioned that the bathrooms have a cool hipster vibe, which might have something to do with the "Hey there, handsome" poster on the wall. They've only been open for three days and are still waiting for their liquor license, which we were told should arrive sometime next week. I tried the Geisha Kiss burrito roll, and it was both tasty and filling. I hope more people will give this new restaurant in Berkeley Lake a try; it looks very promising!
I visited for lunch and thoroughly enjoyed the yellowtail poke bowl, as well as the takoyaki. The decor and ambiance are amazing. Even if the food were just average, I would still return for the wonderful atmosphere and the jazzy music.
I have to be honest—while everyone’s experience can vary, every time I've visited Sushi Machine, it has been absolutely wonderful. It’s definitely one of my favorite dining spots. The service is consistently excellent, the food is always on point, and I can’t rave enough about the restaurant's decor. However, when we tried to have dinner there last Friday, we found it closed. The sign on the door said they are closed for rebranding and renovations, with plans to reopen on October 31st or November 1st. Despite this closure, I can confidently say that you won’t be disappointed if you visit Sushi Machine in the future. I’ve included before and after pictures of my bento box—my sister practically wanted to lick her plate clean!

This is THE place to go for fresh full service sushi with a little bit of a hipster vibe and a great atmosphere! Try them!
