Saw all the bad reviews for this location but I guess that made the staff want to step up. I live closer to the one on Pleasant Hill Rd. behind the Kroger LA Fitness but the service is so bad there and they never have my sweet heat sauce, so I decided to try the Jimmy Carter Blvd at Peachtree Ind. What Stantheman838 doesn't like about Rinconcito Centroamericano:
Completely worthless and incompetent Popeyes drive-through taking 12 minutes per car been here several times like six or eight consistently horrifically bad service every time I love Popeyes chicken but don’t go to this location they’re terrible View all feedback.
It’s been nearly a year since we had ordered food from this Popeyes. We were hoping that the service had improved. Spoiler alert: it has not improved. Popeyes opened at 11:00AM and we entered the restaurant at 11:30AM. Their electronic menu featured the Wicked Shrimp meal, which was priced at $5 and included bite-sized shrimp, one side of your choice and a biscuit. We ordered two Wicked Shrimp meals and was promptly told by the cashier that they were out of shrimp. We then ordered two chicken sandwiches, one regular and one spicy. The cashier looked at us and told us that she would need to check with the kitchen to see if anyone had taken the chicken out to be thawed. If not, then we would need to come back between 3:00PM and 4:00PM. She asked us if we wanted her to check if someone had taken the chicken out to be thawed and we said yes. Five minutes later, she came back and told us that we were in luck; someone had thawed out the chicken so we could order chicken sandwiches after all. Yay! We waited another ten minutes for our order to be fulfilled. Before we left, we checked our order to ensure that our order was fulfilled correctly and it wasn’t. We had ordered onion rings as our side item and instead, we were given French fries. We notified the cashier of this mistake and she told us that they were out of onion rings. We would have appreciated if she had let us know when we had ordered that they were out of onion rings, but we ended up just leaving with the French fries because we had already spent a ridiculous amount of time inside of the restaurant. This is the closest Popeyes to us, which is why we gave them a second chance. The food, just like last time, was very good, but their service is severely lacking and unfortunately, the staff there doesn’t seem to care.
I have always loved Popeyes. Not sure what happened here tonight. I ask for 3pc combo spicy chicken, I got 1pc not spicy, with 2 sides. Got halfway home and realized it, turned around went back. Got the 3 pics, but still didn't get spicy. Plus this chicken was so greasy and it smelled like it was cooked in the same grease as the shrimp. They would be better off closing.

After hearing all the hype over Popeyes chicken sandwiches, we stopped by after seeing that there was no line at this location. At the drive-thru, we ordered two spicy chicken meals and one chicken sandwich. When we received our order, we checked our bag and there were only three chicken sandwiches in the bag. Not only did the drive-thru attendant forget to give us our drinks, but we also did not receive any of our sides. We parked the car, went inside and explained to the cashier that we did not receive our drinks or sides. The cashier quickly handed us our drinks and side items. Since we were inside, we decided to order a couple of more items, specifically their chicken tenders and shrimp po' boy sandwich. And guess what? When we were handed our bag, there were only chicken tenders and no shrimp po' boy. The cashier apologized and we waited a couple of more minutes for our sandwich. Once at home, all of us ate our food. It was good, but I'm not sure if it is worth the inconvenience. If you do decide to go this Popeye's though, be sure to check your bag before you leave.

This location didn 't have my sweet heat sauce either but he went back to the kitchen and had them make a 'hot sauce with honey ' version of it that actually tasted even better. Love it! Hope it stays this way. If so, I 'll definitely be back and you should give them a try too.
