I came across Brunk’s Butchery on Instagram and was eager to visit because of my passion for steaks. Unfortunately, when I arrived a bit late, the shop was closed. To my pleasant surprise, the owner came out and graciously invited me inside, assuring me it was no trouble at all. I ended up buying three thick slices of prime ribeye, and they were exceptional—perfectly marbled and bursting with flavor. I can't wait to return and explore more of their selections, especially looking forward to trying their dry-aged ribeye!
I chose this restaurant after searching on Yelp for a fresh turkey, and Brunk's did not let me down. They offered fresh turkeys from Diestel Family Ranch, and while the price is a bit steep, I believe in paying for quality, especially for a significant occasion like Thanksgiving. When we cooked the turkey, it turned out fantastic—truly the best turkey I've ever had. The flavor, texture, and tenderness were unmatched. The location is clean and welcoming, the staff is friendly, and the coolers are well-stocked with a variety of beef, chicken, turkey, and more. I didn't get to try their cheeses this time, but they're definitely on my list for my next visit. I can't wait to return for some delicious steaks and prime rib. I'm so happy to have them in Norco, just a short drive from home.
What a wonderful little shop that offers some truly massive steaks! The owner and her nephew are both friendly and working the counter, which makes for a delightful shopping experience. Although the space is quite small, they really utilize it well. Be sure to try their Greek olive oil; I bought some in a refillable bottle, and it’s fantastic! It’s sweet, light, and far superior to what you’d find in the grocery store. I was surprised to learn they also serve sandwiches! I definitely would have grabbed one or two if I had known. I’ll make sure to pick some up next time.
After reading some of the reviews on their sandwichs I decided to give them a try. Well I was disappointed. First of all, no tomato or lettuce used for the sandwich. They used scredded cheese instead of sliced cheese which falls out as you the sandwich. The bread was a bit dry/tough to chew on. The saving grace was the amount of meat which was good. Luckily I bought a bottle of water to help swallow the dry bread sandwich. I was looking forward to a good sandwich for lunch. Time to move on.
