I ordered a Cobb salad with chicken, while my son had the blackened chicken sandwich with avocado. The service was excellent and the atmosphere scored a 4 out of 5. I highly recommend this restaurant! View all feedback.
What Opal Bruen doesn't like about Badlands BBQ:
I couldn't enjoy the brisket because it was too fatty, leaving me with an unpleasant feeling in my stomach. Unfortunately, the other dishes weren't great either. The mac and cheese was decent, but the ribs were overpriced. In total, $40 including tip was not worth it. View all feedback.
Came in Father's Day and it was my family's first visit here. Wife ordered the pulled pig afteros: chips were made at home, pork was delicious, and toppings were just right..not transferred or served under. My son has the Oink Burger.. Big burger and he added her Memphis sauce.he said this is fire Dad..lol We also have the slides with brisket and links. Brisket was juicy and the links were well cooked. I have full crack of ribs: came from the bone easily and were well cooked. Pages: Jalapeño bacon mac n Cheese..delicious, not too cheesy, right quantity of jalapeño, so its not burn your mouth, but there is a lil kick, and bacon. Brisket baked beans: loved these with my cornbread, both are amazing. It is a decent restaurant, but could see that seating would only be limited if occupied. Many people got orders to go that helped with seating. My family loved it and would like to come back soon
It's ?? Good. Now I'm from Texas.. I do my own B.B.Q ing on a big, to large scale sometimes so I could be picky or Bias on this. I very much enjoyed the sausage. The ribs were fall off the bone. The brisket was TENDER.. The Mac and cheese ? was ?? good. The cornbread was good enough for me to want that they served collard greens ? but NOO. Those sweet potato fries were good but would be better if it were not SOO sweet with the finishing topping. The ? Lemonade was Texas GOOD. For California yup this place will be around for a while. Go check them out.
I've eaten at Badlands a couple times, and it has been great every time. The staff are tremendously helpful, the store is appropriately appointed, and the food preparations are great. I've had the Lonestar sandwich and the Porky. Others in the party have had other sandwiches and salads, and everyone appreciates and enjoyed their food. My only complaint is that the parking lot is too small for all of the stores in that center, but it's not the fault of the restaurant.
First time here, and got the Triple Threat combo (3 meats and 2 sides), which was perfect for two people to try a variety of items. The meat is exceptional. Got the smoked beef brisket, baby back ribs, and pulled pork and all three were made to perfection, super soft (never knew meat could melt in your mouth), easy to chew, good flavor but not overly sauced, not dry. Also loved the sweet potato fries which were different from other places because they 're made extra crispy and have a caramelized taste! Lastly, shoutout to the servers who were all super patient and friendly, as we arrived late and finished eating past closing (they don 't kick you out).
The service is great I love that in a place the cashier recommended the trio which allowed us to get the sliders that u can try 3 different types of meat the hot link was our favorite the jalepneo cheddar one is better than the Cajun in my opinion the pulled pork was better than the brisket the fried jalepneos are delicious it was about 30 bucks for an appetizer, a plate, and a hot link on the side for 2 of us to share.
