My husband and I had lunch here today and our meals were delicious!I had the scallops for an entreè. They were plump and beautifully cooked.My husband had the oysters natural and he said they were very tasty.For my main I chose the parmesan crusted lamb cutlets. we were in this restaurant and were never disappointed. but my meal was very subdued! the king prawn cocktail was clearly not king prawns and very tasteless. the main meal was cold! the highlight was my sticky date pudding desert. also the...service definitiw not as good as we in the past, although it seemed to plant personal. This place is a hidden gem of the coast, tucked away behind a group of shops it's far too easy to miss but it's all worth looking for.
Great restaurant! Food is awesome. Locals night is real value! Five stars from me. You won't be disappointed :)
The food was much better than I expected for its location. Great service and beautifully done meals for a reasonable price
Enjoyed the Thursday night locals special $50 for a 3 course meal. Couldnt fault the food and the service was great!
I have visited Shore Thyme numerous times over the years and have always enjoyed it. However, this week I went for the "Locals Night" special, which offers 3 courses for $50, and I was not impressed. The food was bland and disappointing, it seemed rushed. I would give it a 2 out of 5 rating at best. If you want to truly experience this restaurant, I would recommend not going on a Thursday for "Locals Night". Normally, I would give it a 4 out of 5 rating for sure.
