Had a lovely lunch at this restaurant and sampled some excellent fish dishes. The location is great and very close to the beach.
Very good place to eat. Nice people. All very relaxed and top quality fresh seafood. Easy parking and close to the beach.
This is a very strange bar, but the food is very good. It´s almost like self service and you have to go to the bar pay and select your food. They do deliver to the table and bit like Nandos service. It was extremely busy and buzzy, which is a sign of a good restaurant. They did not like the fact that I wanted lemon with our Rabas, but other than that everything was fantastic and I would certainly go again if I go back. The surroundings were delightful and people very friendly.
If you are into eating big plates of Quality food, Fish and or Beef then this is a place in Cantabria which you can't give a miss. The food is First Class quality food served in an excellent manner. The beef is 4 month aged and it was fabulous. AND the price mid range :
If you like your fish shell fish straight from the sea, no frills then this is the place to go. My husband I where really looking forward to this for our last night in Spain but came away disappointed. The waitress stood over him would not move until he made his choice which made us feel hurried in ordering. English Menu gives a very basic description i.e. Hake, local crab, etc. I ordered 12 prawns for starter thinking I would get 'shell on ' prawn got prawns deep fried in breadcrumbs with a funny after taste a slice of tomato. My hake was nice but had to get through the large bones first. My husband orders Octopus for starter also got it deep fried and nothing else. He ordered local crab received a spider crab, presented boiled with the back taken off. Personally I could not have eaten it and all he was given to remove the meat was a pair of nut crackers and not the usually implements that normally come with a dish like this. The chef/owner came out during the evening to ask customers if they were enjoying their meals but totally ignored us. Most expensive meal we had in the whole of our 2,000 mile trip in Spain and the least one we enjoyed.
