The food and service at this restaurant are both excellent. I have been living nearby for years, and although the café has had different owners and kitchens in the past, it seems to have found the right fit now. The owners are friendly, and the atmosphere is welcoming. The renovation of the place is impressive as well. I tried the kothu and the tears, and both dishes were amazing. View all feedback.

I recently had lunch at Cafe Pillawoos and was extremely impressed. The food was delicious, fresh, and flavorsome. The service was quick and the staff were friendly. The interior was modern and the restaurant was clean. Having dined at similar Sri Lankan-style eateries before, I can confidently say that Cafe Pillawoos surpassed them all significantly. I am looking forward to returning for another meal and would highly recommend this place to all.
I had a chicken cheese sandwich here yesterday and it was delicious! The service was excellent, with all the staff being very friendly. Overall, this is a great restaurant in Melbourne serving Sri Lankan cuisine.

Good lankan food on its better day. The goat biryani and the egg rotis are the best others average. The accompaning curries not great. Counter staff have excellent customer service skills. There is no consistency in the quality and flavours.
