Description

Polished decor, live music and frequently praised, attentive servers make this casino-adjacent eatery appealing — but experiences vary widely. Some diners rave about starters, breads and friendly staff, while others report overcooked or greasy mains, soggy desserts, tiny sides and overpriced bills. A stated business-casual dress code is rarely enforced, and casino noise can intrude. Book for atmosphere or a night out, but temper expectations on consistency and value.

I am giving this place 2 stars because the restaurant was clean from what I could see. And that my friends is the only good thing about it. This is a great place to take older people who can 't handle too much salt or spicy or flavor to their food. So if you have a bus load of seniors, they might love this place. The first rule about BBQ restaurants is if the BBQ isn 't the star, it 's not a good BBQ restaurant. Guess what...This isn 't the best BBQ restaurant. The menu included, chicken tenders and pizza. (What in the world?!? They also had corn fritters, fried green tomatoes and crab cakes. Seriously, crab cakes? We went for my birthday lunch with my in-laws. I ordered the brisket sandwich on texas toast (it normally comes on a roll , Mac-n-cheese and mashed potatoes and gravy. The husband ordered pulled pork on texas toast, fries and corn. My SIL ordered the pepperoni pizza. The server wrote everything down and went on her way. None of our orders came on texas toast. I got my husband 's sides on my plate. Ok. They switched the sandwiches, it happens. My SIL got a cheese pizza and in her words, It wasn 't very good pizza. The Mac-n-cheese was BLAND, but creamy(? or at least wet with white-ish sauce. The mashed potatoes were the best part of my lunch. The brisket was wet, tough and not tasty. The pulled pork was also wet. I am not sure what we sauce they use on the meat, but I don 't think it is the same sauce on the table. The husband 's fries were over cooked to the point they were hard. The buttered corn was the equivalent of school lunch corn, over cooked and no flavor. Will I be back? No. it 's not worth spending money on this place.

Visiting Charlottesville, great local place! Live music, scrumptious food, and great service! Not too pricey and very delicious. Corn fritters and honey butter were absolutely amazing! Make sure to ask for their onion ring sauce/dip!!!!

This was our first visit to Barnyard BBQ. We were celebrating his 28 days od sobriety. We ordered the platter for 2, it had four meats, 4 sides and 4 corn fritters with butter. We opted for the collard greens, Mac n cheese, baked beans and potato salad...not bad. I really enjoyed the Brisket

OMG. This place needs to stop serving this food. Picked up half rack ribs, pound of brisket, red potato salad, cole slaw, bread pudding, lemon pie on June 30, 2019. $35 later and feel ripped off. Ribs served wet. But so over cooked inedible. Brisket served in a cup with half inch of grease. See photo. Stringy, tough and in a cup! A travesty calling that slop brisket. The sides were microscopic in size. Maybe a half cup if my measurements generous. Coleslaw was minced not shredded. Bread pudding disgusting, provided cold with container of so called chocolate sauce the color and texture of brown gravy. Lemon pie had a soggy crust, soggy! No genuine lemon flavor. Why did I eat here when yelp gave it three stars? Near my hotel, hungry for Q. But dint waste your money. Go to Golden Corral where their is no expectation and save your money! A W Coldspring, Tx

Very friendly staff. I normally never leave a review and especially a poor one. They seemed to be a little understaffed. My family and I were traveling back home and decided to stop and eat. We Ordered pulled pork sandwich, pulled chicken, chicken fingers, and a pizza. As an appetizer we got wings they were good and came out really fast. Our food took 50min to come out! I was really surprised considering we got pretty easy meals except my kids wanting a pizza. When we ask about our food it finally came out it was room temperature not hot at all and the pizza was the only thing super hot. I know who orders pizza at a bbq place anyways? My kids did and they offer it on the menu. Well the pizza was horrible and considering they were super hungry they ate it anyways. Would not recommend going unless you are not super hungry or just don't order a pizza cause it takes forever.
