Recommended by a local. Varied menu. Very friendly and passionate waitress/cook who was very happy to extol the virtues of this and that dish. We were all very happy with our choices. Nice view from the outside balcony on the bay below. Prices were a bit steep for the fare offered, but this is probably a seasonal, tourist based business. View all feedback.

After a long day, we were eager to have a meal. The server was friendly and accommodating, and the food was of good quality. The restaurant closes at 8 PM and does not serve breakfast. View all feedback.

The Edgeview at Sunnyside is a lovely surprise. It looks very unassuming from the outside, but inside it's lovely on all levels. The restaurant is in an old house that has been opened up to a warm inviting place. Interesting artwork is on the wall. The service was wonderful. I had the curried lamb burger and it may well be the best burger of any meat I have had anywhere. Perfect for a chilly rainy day somewhere in the great white north!
We were impressed by the charming and welcoming atmosphere of the restaurant, and the stunning view added to the dining experience. The Friday lunch special, beer battered cod, was delicious, and there were many other options to choose from on the menu. The entrees are all homemade, and there is a great selection of wines available. Brian, the chef, personally checked in with us to make sure we were enjoying our meal, while Germaine warmly welcomed us at the door. The service at The Edgeview Restaurant is top-notch, and we both agreed that we will definitely be returning for lunch and dinner in the future. It's wonderful to see a family-owned business thriving on the North Shore of Lake Superior. The delicious food and welcoming atmosphere created by Brian and Germaine make for a successful restaurant. Thank you for a great experience - we will be bringing our friends and family to your little gem on the North Shore. Great job!

Lovely place for lunch or dinner. A notch above many places in the area. Very friendly, well kept, clean restaurant. The menu is small- the majority home made and locally sourced. Delicious soup- the best I've had in Canada and the U.S. Great take on...a filly steak sandwich , and good fruit pies. Outside patio area with a lovely view of the the water. Food going to other tables also looked great and they can do small portions of most items for children. Free wifi to boot. Charming place- don't miss it.
