The electrical w... read more As soon as I entered, I was overwhelmed by the strong odors of musk and cigarettes. If you're a fan of spiders, this might be the spot for you. The electrical wiring was haphazardly sticking out of the wall, and there were visible cracks in both the walls and ceiling. The restroom was the worst – mold everywhere and exposed walls, it was incredibly unsanitary. At night, I could hear mice scratching in the walls. To top it off, the owner seemed to snoop around when I wasn't there, which made me feel uneasy. There’s no sense of privacy or pride in ownership here. My strong recommendation is to avoid this place at all costs. Zero stars.

This place is an acceptable option for a night if you have no other alternatives. It's clean, but the bed in cabin 5 needs replacing since it sags in the middle... read more This place is an acceptable option for a night if you have no other alternatives. It's clean, but the bed in cabin 5 needs replacing since it sags in the middle. I was hoping for a nice view based on the online pictures, but we ended up overlooking a back alley. On the positive side, it was convenient to have a stove for cooking breakfast and plenty of dishes available.

We got 2 double beds, and they were really comfortable. Minutes away from the water and a really neat lookout tower, looking over the Nipigon Lake.The website says that its a kitchenette, but its more like a kitchen, with a full stove and oven, a sink, and everything that you'd need.Wifi was nice and fast, there was a flatscreen TV (that we didn't use, but it looked like it was in good condition), and the driveway is right by the front door.Would book again.
