Well....that's how the dishes at SKAB are presented. They are so stunning that you don't want to put your utensils in them. But I did, and I'm not sorry one bit! It's a Michelin star restaurant with a cozy and relaxed feel. The staff is very friendly and patient (my French is pretty terrible and they were very nice about it). The food, THE FOOD! INCREDIBLE! It made for a fabulous birthday dinner.

We had a nice evening with perfect food and almost perfect service.We were at the beginning a bit bumped in front of the head when the greeting came out of the... read more We had a nice evening with perfect food and almost perfect service.We were at the beginning a bit bumped in front of the head when the greeting came out of the kitchen, although we still looked into the menu. we hadn't experienced that yet. it was a bit hard to look into the map while the greeting was standing before one. we have seen the other tables that this is probably so common in this restaurant. We have disturbed something because we had no place to eat or look. that was already, and you can believe that it is high. otherwise we had a great menu, tastefully at the point, visually beautiful and in the right tempo. the service was very attentive and even though we often had to infiltrate the wein ourselves, that did not break the evening. it just did everything. the gastgarten is incredibly beautiful, with the big tree in the middle and the tables around it. next time we're close, we'll definitely be back!
