Menu

The menu of Haewadall from Niles contains about 68 different menus and drinks. On average you pay about $19.8 for a dish / drink.

A popular Korean restaurant in the Chicagoland area offers large portions and standout dishes like budae jjigae, agoo jjim, and seafood pancake, praised for authentic flavors and attracting a predominantly Korean clientele. While some diners appreciate attentive service and unique menu items such as jokbal and goat stew, others note inconsistencies, including delayed orders, basic side dishes, and declining food quality. Pricing has risen sharply, with complaints about extra charges for takeout containers. The cozy but cramped seating and occasional awkward service moments may affect the overall experience, leaving opinions divided between loyal fans and dissatisfied visitors.

Was Se Young Jun at Haewadall a mag?
Surprisingly good food. We ordered jokbal (braised pig trotter), yeomso tang (goat stew), and steamed cod head. They were all not a typical type of food so I was worried, but oh my, they were full of flavor and delicious. I thank my friends for taking me here and I'll frequent this place for sure. What Jeng Kang dislikes about Haewadall:
My experience at this restaurant was disappointing. The service was lacking, as my order didn't arrive until after I had finished my meal and was ready to leave. It seems this is a common issue with Korean restaurants. I don't think I'll be returning. View all feedback.

Good, but honestly not best. A bit different from authentic Korean foods.

One of the best Korean restaurants in the Chicagoland area for sure. We’ve always heard great things about this place from many other Koreans in the area. The portions are large and the service is excellent! The budae jjigae 부대찌개 was so filling and perfect for a cold winter day! This place is also famous for its agoo jjim and daegumeori jjim spicy fish and bean sprouts dishes . The seafood pancake 해물파전 was also really good, much better than other Korean restaurants in Chicago that we’ve tried. You really know this place is legit because every time we’re there the clientele is 95% Korean.

It never comes until the customer has finished eating and leaves. All Korean restaurants do. I don't want to come to a restaurant like this again. It's foolish to charge an additional $2.50 for a container when you take out takeout food or leftover food. Do you do business by treating customers as
