Dunkin' - Niles
Dunkin'
Description
Dunkin' has garnered mixed reviews from frequent patrons, particularly regarding service consistency and staff professionalism. While some locations delight customers with exceptional food quality, including standout donuts and freshly made drinks, others fall short due to incorrect orders and inattentive service. Late-night experiences often lead to dissatisfaction as employees reportedly refuse service under various pretexts. Customers have also noted poor interactions with staff, including rudeness and lack of basic service etiquette. Despite these challenges, some diners continue to seek out specific locations, hoping to find the exceptional experiences that Dunkin' is known for.

I always visit this Dunkin’, but tonight was terrible. I usually order online because it’s easier and much faster. When I got to the drive-thru speaker and said I had a mobile order, the worker interrupted me. Then, when I pulled up to the window, I received the nastiest iced lattes—they actually tasted like iced coffee. If you plan to go here, do it before noon because the afternoon and late-night staff are very lazy and just want you out of their way.
I’m honestly baffled that the employees at Dunkin' thought this “hot chocolate” was acceptable to serve. It was basically just hot water with whipped cream on top. Absolutely ridiculous, especially considering the rest of the menu offers so much more.
My sister inquired about ordering something different and whether she could pay the difference or get a refund. The woman at the window stated that a refund was not possible and insisted that my sister had to reorder the same drink. As my sister was trying to communicate her new order, the woman kept interrupting her. My sister mentioned that there was no need for rudeness, and eventually, the woman told her to pull around. When we reached the next window, the woman handed my sister her drink but attempted to close the window without fully shutting it, despite my sister clearly requesting light ice. She was swearing and slamming things around. Frustrated, my sister asked for the woman’s name. Initially, the woman refused to provide it but eventually claimed her name was Candy and that she was the manager. For a manager, she should have been setting a positive example, but her attitude and customer service were far from acceptable. I plan to contact corporate regarding this unnecessary and unprofessional behavior.
My husband and I are regulars at Dunkin', and this particular location is our favorite because it’s conveniently close to our home. However, we’ve been having frequent problems with our coffee orders being incorrect lately. Moreover, my husband has run into issues when he tries to visit between 11 PM and 2 AM. They often claim they are "updating systems" and refuse to serve customers during those hours. If you're operating 24/7, shouldn’t you be available to serve customers at all times? It’s really disappointing because we used to enjoy this Dunkin', but now we’ve switched to the Salt Springs location instead, where the service is much better!
When I arrived at the drive-thru window to pick up my remake, I saw the employee angrily tossing items around and using profanity while making my drink. When she handed me the coffee, I pointed out that it was incorrect—I had requested extra almond milk and light ice. Instead of apologizing, she cursed again, saying she was "so done with this." I asked for her name, but she initially refused to provide it. Eventually, I discovered that she was the manager. At that moment, I decided to decline both coffees and went to Starbucks instead.
