Contribute Feedback What Nats likes about Kitsho Japanese Restaurant And Sake Bar:
We never regretted our last minute decision to have our Noche Buena at Kitsho. The food selection was not much but the food was good sashimis were fresh plus the friendly and accommodating chefs. They just need to refill the chafing dishes double time. View all feedback.
Enjoyed their japanese oyster tempura and unidon. Service is good. Its a quiet place during lunch time.
Kitsho is now offering a weekend lunch buffet for 1395.00 nett. It includes a sit-down order all you can menu, and a fresh sushi and sashimi bar. The restaurant is roomy and quiet. The area is well-lit and the seats are comfortable. A few menu items i liked were the tuna sashimi, ebi tempura, fried oysters, uni, and beef teppan. The seafood was undeniably fresh, and well prepared. I also appreciated the subtle flavours of the dishes because they do not overpower each other. Maybe one thing they can improve on is the service. I arrives a little after 12 and the buffet plates were empty. I had to wait a considerable amount of time for them to be refilled, and the food we ordered took a while to come out from the kitchen. All this considering we were only one of two groups dining at the time.
During my previous visit to Kitsho Japanese Restaurant and Sushi Bar, I saw a poster outside that said they had a weekend buffet for only P699 . We needed to do something in the Manila area one Sunday so we suggested to the family to meet up for lunch at Kitsho. We called ahead to reserve and we got the seats right in the middle of the buffet setup. Our group was a party of 6 so we were able to take advantage of their “5 1″ promo that is running until March 30, 2014. The buffet spread is small but the quality is really good. You have have your choice of maguro (tuna), shake (salmon), tai (sea bream) and ika (squid) rolled with nori (seaweed) into a black and white pinwheel. They also have a small selection of sushi, not as beautiful as the ala carte ones but quality is high especially for a buffet. They also have 3 kinds of rolls, futomaki, california roll and a showy tempura maki. I have come to adore the Horenso no Ohitashi (spinach with sesame sauce). My friend and I had a couple of plates of this. For your dose of greens, they have 3 salads as well as a Mabo Nasu (stewed eggplant) dish that my mom really liked, topping it on white rice. Kitsho also has a sukiyaki station, where they cook it upon order. Located right beside the sushi/sashimi station is the tempura and okonomiyaki. The tempura met my friend's standard and she finished off at least 6 pieces. I’d skip the okonomiyaki though. They also have 4 cooked food in chafing dishes the best of which was the grilled salmon belly. The yaki udon was good taste wise but it was a bit cold already. For more carbs, you can have fried or plain rice. There’s a few simple desserts, fruits and two small cake options. Kitsho Japanese Restaurant and Sushi Bar weekend buffet is available during lunch and dinner on both Saturdays and Sundays. The selection is small but the quality is really good. I’d concentrate on the sushi, sashimi, tempura and sukiyaki and your are sure to get more than your money’s worth.
