Whenever I'm craving for hakaw and I'm on a budget Hapchan is my go to. Loved all of their dimsums specially the hakaw. You can really taste the shrimp inside not like other hakaw from other restaurants.
December 2, 2017 We tried to obtain files from an editor/videographer who lives in the area. While he was trying to cram everything into the hubby's external drive, we decided to have a quick afternoon snack around the vicinity. We decided to roam around for options and when I saw the sign board of Hap Chan across Makati Avenue, it was already a no-brainer where to eat. The boyfie had his usual fill of Hakaw (Php 120) and we decided to share Asado Siopao (Php 90). I ordered Pork w/ Century Egg Congee (small) (Php 85), a usual personal preference and I was quite surprised that my partner also liked it! The service was pretty efficient and the choices for food were also extensive as in all branches. My only negative observation for most Hap Chan branches, and it is the same for this one, is the dated aesthetics. They badly need an upgrade of their interiors!
You have to try Lapu-Lapu cooked in two ways (soup and sweet&sour), Swahe and Beef with Broccoli. Also, don't miss out on the Salt and Pepper Squid. Free house tea! Lastly, parking can be a challenge.
Hap Chan serves authentic taste of Chinese dishes. The serving size was big and the price was worth of what you pay for. I love their Patatim with cuapao. The meat was soft and juicy and could easily fall of the bone. I love the flavorful sauce of Patatim that it was cooked to perfection.
