It’s all about being able to serve the best food not only for her family but for everyone. She spent her later years hovering around the kitchen with a critical eye and appreciative palate. Started off with the zesty Thai Pomelo Shrimp Salad... read more Had a delightful dinner delivered from Fely J's. Superb Filipino food a South Asian touch as I will explain. Started off with the zesty Thai Pomelo Shrimp Salad. Tasty salad with just pomelo pieces and shelled shrimp in a typically Thai dressing of chilies and garlic. The veg dish we ordered Gule Magalang a version of Pinakbet without the bagoong and with added shrimps. Very healthy and tasty too. One meat dish we ordered was Beef Smoores it is based on a Sri Lankan recipe called ismoru. Thin, tender beef slices in a mildly spicy coconut gravy. Really good. The other dish we got was Lengua Rendang which is fork tender lengua cooked in Indonesian Rendang sauce. A great dish that gives you a range of flavors in every bite, from lemongrass and ginger to chillies and creamy coconut milk. Truly remarkable.

Cruz of the LJC Restaurant Group fame and is also the wife of Abe of Abe restaurant. If Lorenzo’s Way serves food that were favorites of Larry J Cruz, Fely J’s Kitchen literally means that exactly. All food from this restaurant were cooked at one tine or another by Fely J in her kitchen Last Saturday, we were served an 8 course neal: Utan Ilonggo Thai Pomelo and Shrimp Salad P270 Tilapia with Sweet Plum Sauce P399 Lengua Rendang P399 Braised Beef with Radish P695 Temple Crab P190/100 grams Binagoongan P325 Sisig fried rice P275 Snowy Mango P195 Cassava Bibingka P120 Comfort food at its best. My favorites were the Lengua Rendang, Braised Beef and Temple crab. Loved their cassava Bibingka too. So addicting! Delicious food, value for money, cheerful service, great location. No wonder this l place is always full. Definitely returning with the piggery in tow
