Bon Pho Roll - Niles

We love the food here—we go out of our way to dine here. Just sad that its schedule is a bit unpredictable. What we normally order: Pho Bon Dac Biet, Cha Gio, and one of their salads. How much: Pho-250, Salad-180, Spring Rolls-120 I could eat these everyday!!! This gem is not easy to find, it will require a bit of patience effort — but once you find it, you’ll be rewarded ???? We had the ff: 1)The Bon House Special (Pho) which is a big bowl of healthy noodle dish (good enough for 2) with Beef Sirloin Steak, Beef Flank Brisket, Tendon, and Meatball. It is served with fresh bean sprouts. I found it so savory with Calamansi chili sauce. 2)Chicken/Seafood Salad is a plateful of shredded chicken/shrimps cucumber drenched in a dressing which was a combination of sweet, salty, and sour, and topped with fried shallots, garlic, and nuts. We liked it but were so full to finish it. 3)The Fried Spring Rolls was served with my to-die-for forever love dressing/dip Nuoc Mam. Bon Pho Roll is owned by a Vietnamese family who are nice people and know how to speak in Tagalog! Serving time was quick, and staff were friendly. Place is small, but clean and home-y. We will come back and have more Pho here. You should, too.

I was craving for authentic Vietnamese food one day and found this gem around Makati! Food Price: They have a selection of Vietnamese food from Pho, Spring rolls and Vietnamese drinks. We tried— Beef Pho: super big bowl which can be shared by 2 people. Love the broth and generous servings of meat! (P250) Fresh Spring Rolls: definitely healthy and prepared fresh. I could eat this everyday. (P100) Fried Spring Rolls: this one is our favorite!! So tasty and its flavor improves when dipped in the sauce. (P120) Crispy Vietnamese Pancake: this is a whole big plate of crispy pancake filled with minced meat, shrimp, bean sprouts, etc. Parang Vegetable Okoy Fritters. (P180) Service: They only had one server at that time and she was attentive and all smiles. Food was served in 10 minutes. Place Ambience: It’s the home of a Vietnamese family converted into a resto, so expect that the kids are just roaming around. Medyo maingay that time pero it’s understandable naman. It’s also adjacent to a Bon Banhmi branch (Vietnamese sandwich shop). The place is clean, well ventilated and well lit. Plus points: They delivery within the area! Worth it? YES. Price is worth it for their generous servings. Mabubusog ka talaga dito without breaking the bank plus it’s healthy! Will definitely go back and try the other items in their menu.

Number of times visited: Once Parking: Street parking Food: The Crispy Vietnamese pancake is super enjoyable crispy pancake with mixed vegetables and shrimp filling. Dipping it with the sauce it came with, tasted so good! The fried spring rolls tasted delicious as well. We also ordered a beef pho and was quite surprised that the greens it came with was shredded lettuce. Maybe I've been so used to being served with mint/basil leaves by other restos. We also ordered a roasted pork banhmi from Bon Banhmi (their banhmi store beside Bon Pho and Roll). I've had this pork banhmi several times in the past and it remains consistently good. Price: Affordable. Service: Fast and friendly. Place: Looks like a home converted into a resto. You will notice their Vietnamese decors as expected and it is adjoined to the Bon Banhmi shop. Repeat: Yes, if only parking was easier though. Here's to hoping for more branches!

The house special PHO is pho-ntastic! I especially liked the generous serving of beef sirloin and tendon. The Cha Gio did not disappoint. It's freshly made and the dipping sauce is perfect. Got a Traditional Banhmi from their banhmi shop as well. Perfectly hot and crisp roll! Capped it off with very potent vietnamese coffee (guaranteed to keep you up well past your bedtime).

I am in awe that San Antonio Village has a lot of hidden gems that I am recently discovering one by one. My office is located in San Antonio Village Makati and I didn't expect that a lot of good restaurants are actually situated here. If you know San Antonio Village it's really an unassuming village within the boundaries of Makati and Taft, you won't even think that a restaurant would exist in this area cause it's purely residential but good thing there are few WORTH VISITING restaurants here that I keep coming back for. Fyi, there are a lot of hole in the wall vietnamese restaurants here as well btw! If you are familiar with Bon Bahn Mi's Traditional Sandwiches along Mayapis then you will find this authentic Vietnames Pho Roll Restaurant just beside the sandwich stall. The owners are vietnamese and they're usually in the store managing the place so to assure that they serve the best quality every time an order comes out of their kitchen. They serve pretty quick we only waited for about 5 to 7 min and order came out right away. The restaurant is very simple and well ventilated. The homey vibe is just the perfect ambiance to have a warm bowl of pho. BON HOUSE SPECIAL
