The Shojin ryori (monk's feast) has fish stocks in some of the items they cannot change. And the tempura has egg in the dough. They offer a mountain vest. Spaghetti said there was egg in the pasta. Okay for vegetarians.
I had an amazing vegetarian meal at this restaurant. Every dish was fresh and incredibly tasty. I made sure to confirm that there was no hidden meat or dairy in any of the dishes, based on previous reviews. They assured me that everything was indeed free from meat and milk.
