I went here on the recommendation of the Book Inn where I was in Niigata, and they were not wrong. The menu is in Japanese, but google translate app grand, as I do not speak or read Japanese (yes! . This place is a real jewel. Nice helpful staff and a beautiful atmosphere. I highly recommend tasting some of the local wines with notes of very knowledgeable maitre d'. And the food is exalted. Amazing dishes, wonderful jazz music ambience, great selection. The staff was super accommodating and even gave us additional portions and tasting. Five stars!
