This is a large local coffee shop with specialties drinks and bistro style menu items such as chicken pesto panini and tasty house made spinach diving. Did I mention the beans roasted in the house? Between her dazzling staff and her scenic, cheesy interior, this coffee house has quickly made its way to my favorite kentucky destinations. View all feedback.
Overall, it was a pleasant experience. The coffee was great, and it was a refreshing departure from typical chain options. The staff, who I believe were the owners, were very nice and helpful.
This is a spacious local coffee shop that offers specialty drinks and a bistro-style menu featuring items like chicken pesto panini and delicious house-made spinach dip. And let’s not forget about the beans that are roasted on-site! With its charming staff and inviting, quirky décor, this coffee house has quickly become one of my favorite spots in Kentucky.
I really wish this place had been around when I was growing up in Nicholasville. I highly recommend the house coffee, Americano, or Chai tea. If you're feeling hungry, her tomato soup is simply amazing! There are plenty of seats available for groups wanting to enjoy coffee or lunch together. The shop has been beautifully refurbished, and it features local arts and crafts. It’s definitely worth a visit if you’ve never been before! The staff is friendly and quick with your orders.
I love aesthetics, atmosphere, food and coffee were pretty good and worth my money. I sincerely love the intent behind this place: a community-centred institution that promotes good will (Reisen von Nicholasville der Sucht, creation of jobs, etc.). Why so many Christian sounds in a café? I have no problem with the Christian faith, although I did not practice it myself, but if I had given the choice, I would go to a starbuck in the spirit to be surrounded by people of all faiths. You can serve your God and your mission – probably more successful – if you were on your mission without preaching to customers. Just a thought. I'll probably come back, whatever.
J's place provides a nice cozy atmosphere along with great food and drinks. The sandwiches have all been nice and the coffee has been great. Can be a little pricey, but I don't mind if it supports local businesses, especially those with a good cause. Limited hours so it's hard to find time to stop by.
