The atmosphere and food is great. The barman and chef worked really hard to ensure everyone enjoyed. They really could of done with some help but also did a great job regardless of being very busy. They ran round and made everyone feel very welcome. Definately a place to visit
Very good ambiance with latin music. Quite expensive though, like any tapas. Had an amazing time overall with a bunch of friends
Absolutely loved this place, the food was excellent and so fresh and the cocktails are made very strong : The waiting staff where amazing too, she was friendly and warm and helped make it a wonderful experience. Would highly recommend, the beef, the honey chorizo pastry and pretty much all the seafood.

My boyfriend and I stumbled across this tapas bar when trying to find somewhere for dinner. There was a great variety on the menu. We ordered a selection of food and it was all delicious- from the prawns, to the red mullet and of course chorizo. All this was washed down with a jug of sangria for only €10! Excellent value for money.
Somewhat surprising that this Spanish restaurant didn’t have a menu in Spanish nor any staff who spoke Spanish. We sat outside. Service was very friendly. Prices and serving size were quite reasonable. I almost always order patatas bravas whenever I eat Spanish food. These potatoes here were served hot and slightly crispy, both good, but there was no spiciness to them. Accompanying two sauces weren’t particularly good. Tortilla espagnola was very good and presented differently than I am used to seeing. Usually it is a wedge shaped cut from a very large tortilla. Here it was a small circular individual serving. No complaint, just different. We also had the fried eggplant which was just ok. I very much liked two of the items on the grilled fish platter the white fish and the calamari. There were two other platter items. The shrimp was ok but I really disliked the red mutton, with a very unpleasant fishy flavor.
What a find ... This was our first visit to Nice, and with all the bars and restaurants in the old town we found Tapaloca and immediately the vibe of the place tempted us in. We chose a drink and looked at the menu, with the assistance of the incredibly friendly and welcoming staff we made our choices to eat all the food is freshly cooked and served piping hot, full of flavour and fresh. Perfect food for a night in the old town. It’s not just about the food, you can tell this is a place that people visit time and time again, the atmosphere is fantastic and all the staff seem to love working here. Guess where we ended up the following night after visiting Tapaloca ... yes Tapaloca again for a second time for an equally enjoyable experience of delicious food and great atmosphere. Tapaloca see you next time we visit Nice
This was the best meal I had whilst in Nice. Lovely tapas and cocktails, great service, and very good value for money. Would definitely recommend!
Very rude owner, I ordered a dessert, and despite it never arriving he charged me for it anyway. I didn 't notice this straight away, and took out my card, I asked if the machine was ready to put my card into (as it didn 't say 'insert your card ' on the screen) and he said sarcastically well obviously, like it 's been since the last century.. . After paying `I noticed the problem with the bill and he refused to give me my money back saying it was too late . Verbally abusive to my friends as well, to the point of shouting, and also tried to overcharge them. My friends are French, as at first I wondered if he was giving me the tourist treatment, but it seems he 's ignorant to everyone. Avoid this place!

Excellent tapas with a restaurant owner who cares about these products. Very nice staff. I highly recommend!
A value on it! I was never disappointed. Excellent dishes, and cocktails at the top! I strongly advise! For me the only true tapas restaurant in Nice.
The atmosphere is very hot. There is a very varied choice of tapas and carefully presented (for those who prefer seafood, those who prefer earth products). Their sangria is very good and offers other types of drinks. I highly recommend this place.
Very good atmosphere, various tapas and a small Spanish song in bonus with guitar accompaniment. Relaxed modern atmosphere. Service a bit long nevertheless but experience I will gladly renew.
