Highly recommended for those who love Morroccon food. Convenience place and easy to reach. Friendly owner. There is some briefing by owner about the menu.

Very warm welcome, excellent and friendly service, really tasty food that is freshly made by the chef "made from scratch", Coucous and tajines - very authentic flavors. Excellent take out service too. I have many favorites - try them ALL! We have! A recent favorite is the Couscous Boulettes d/Agneau - a traditional couscous served with absolutely delicious lamb meatballs. On the weekends, I LOVE to get the Mechoui...hard to choose from all the delicious possibilities! Don't miss the amazing flavors of Ice Cream and Sorbets for dessert!

Good prices and large portions. Personal service but not a very cosy place. Very good take away service.

Friendly service and plenty of delicious food. The Tagine was full of dried fruit fruits and vegetables and the chicken was so tender it fell off the bones. The lovely server prepared it perfectly at our table by seasoning my plate with lemon and cutting the chicken into two easily manageable pieces. My son had sausage couscous which was mildly spicy served with copious amounts of vegetables served in a light broth - not greasy at all. We were too stuffed for dessert but we did have mint tea - served very elegantly in authentic Moroccan tea glasses. The tea was a bit too sweet - we would have preferred to add our own sugar. This place should be a lot busier- don't miss it. The only unfortunate aspect is that it doesn't have any outdoor seating.

A genuine 'made from scratch' cuisine. In the difficult environment of bureaucracy, inspections etc., the Sable d'Or's modest appearance belies the excellence of its kitchen. Cheerful and even entertaining, the hostess leads you through the Maghreb's dishes which you may find exotic, or familiar as in our case. We tried the lamb and chicken tagine, both, and found both excellent. Accompanied by a Sidi Brahim rose. It was clear that the other tables also were superbly served.

We came to dinner with family, a very nice time with Anna the bailiff. The merguez are delicious and we really see the difference in quality. Careful, however, they ask for the health pass if you don't...

Classic Couscous, there's almost nothing to add. Delicious and served with a glass of Moroccan wine. The boss did the service herself and was also incredibly friendly. So if you like couscous, try it. Many orders were recovered while we were there too. (Original view) Couscous Classic, da gibt's kaum was hinzuzufügen. Lecker und dazu ein Glas marokkanischer Wein. Den Service machte die Chefin selbst und zudem auch noch unglaublich freundlich. Also, wer Couscous mag, ausprobieren. Während wir da waren, wurden auch viele Bestellungen abgeholt.

The Saber d'Or is a restaurant specializing in Tunisian influence couscous. The chef is very attentive to the seasoning and presentation and flavor of the dishes are absolutely stunning. Ana takes care of the living room, guides the guests with a lot of sympathy. Back in Nice, we will certainly return to Sable d'Or.
