This one, a little bit off the beaten... read more There are lots of restaurants in Nice and Côte d'Azur, and most of them look quite expensive especially near the beaches. This one, a little bit off the beaten path but very handy for tram stop 'Jean Médicin', had perfectly sensible restaurant prices but amply delivered everything you'd expect from an ordinary (i.e. good) restaurant in this country. The menu is almost entirely classic French, with bits of pasta and gnocchi entirely appropriate so close to the Italian border. The highlight for me was finding a splendid selection of veg on the main course plate and every single one of them 'just so', as you'd hope from a French restaurant. The staff were great too. This was my last night in Nice and I'm left feeling I've pushed the boat out appropriately, yet without breaking the bank. Highly recommended.

Was recommended the zucchini cream and prawn pasta. Definitely delicious and value for money.
