if you get tired of chasing michelin rated restaurants in France like we did, this is the perfect place to delicious and non pretentious food made with high quality ingredients. the owner Olivier personally oversees the cooking and serves the guests despite being quite well recognized (he was mentioned in Alain Ducasse's book). Great food, great service and his olive oils (his main business) are simply incredible. View all feedback.
What Bonjour doesn't like about L'Olivier:
Delicious and fresh, reasonable rate, a welcoming chef. A high quality restaurant. There would be a lack of heat in the decor but otherwise I highly recommend it. View all feedback.
The grand mezze were wonderful (11 different hot and cold starters) I should have taken the mezze royal (15). The service was courteous.
A lovely meal met with warm hospitality from start to finish. I had the lamb shawarma, one of the best Lebanese meals I have eaten! Recommended!
Great find!! The chicken shawarma was incredible loved this little spot.
Nice dining in a small street in Vieux Nice. The food is prepared with passion and fresh ingredients. The owner also speaks fluent English and lets you taste different kinds of delicious olive oils. You need a reservation, usually possible for the next evening.
