We enjoyed a friendly greeting, a properly paced meal and delicious food through a dessert of crême brulee and espresso. I ordered the veal picata which had a sauce that was plate-licking delicious. My husband ordered the lamb in a wonderful juice with some vegetables on the side. The value for the price is good: I will return!! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

My mother ordered the... read more Our first meal in Nice, we went to the first place with decent reviews and within a block of our hotel and it was more than what we hoped. My mother ordered the Nikoise salad while I got her suggested filled zucchini flowers with calf and cheese inside. Served with a marinara sauce it was wonderful. The red sauce was fresh and easy to add the tasty filled zucchini. The salad was large and filled with many toppings. They started the meal a free glass of champagne and finished it with a shot of Limoncello. They were also very friendly to give us a chilled water, sometimes difficult to find in European restaurants. The staff was very efficient, friendly and spoke English clearly, even offers us an English menu. If we stay longer in town, I'd go back because the food was so excellent. To complete it, the price was right. Less to say that 30 euros for two people eating full meals is a victory in my book. Very recommended.

I went here with my sister without reservation and they were full, but they said they opened a table for an hour before a reserved party arrives. An hour was a lot of time, so I'm glad they stopped. They serve free champagne when you arrive what was so beautiful! I ordered basil chicken with pasta. It was delicious! The pasta was perfectly cooked and the chicken was so tender. The share was huge and prices are reasonable. Our waiter was attentive and fast, which was a pleasant service, considering that other French restaurants have slow service. The interior is beautiful, but small there were probably only about 20 25 seats. The tables have white tablecloth, so it's something unusual. Overall, I would recommend this place IF you cannot go to Old Town. My duck was delicious and the service was great. The menu was a bit small and could have more options. Reservations are definitely recommended!

When we first arrived, it was full and soon we learned why. Her food was tasteful and filling. We started with the paprika in olive oil. Simple court but so many places just wrong. Here they use high-quality and tasteful paprika. As much as the paprika pleasantly surprised us, the octopus salad has bleeded us away! The octopus was fresh, juicy and filled with taste that tinted our taste buds. The beef and the rabbit were also solid main dishes. Overall, I would recommend this place for everyone in the area.

We started with the squash flower filled with calf and had the filled sardines, ravioli, linguines with rabbits and calf picata with linguins. All dishes except the Ravioli were very good. The linguine was properly prepared and the rabbit was tender. I found the calfspikat was sweet for me, but our dining room partner really enjoyed it. The filled sardines were great. But as I mentioned, the Ravioli was a great disappointment, it was very embarrassing. The soft chocolate cake was essentially a lava cake. It was moist and fantastic.
