Brasserie- Bar. Beautiful terrace at the corner of Saleya Course and Gautier Square. Ideal for a quiet lunch in the sun while admiring the flower market and the facades of the Saleya course. Simple dishes, don't come for a wanted kitchen. Very good price given the location and dishes of the day at good quality prices
Very good acceuil by a smiling and very professional waiter, very fast service, food not exceptional for correct prices pizza at 15 euros, on the terrace of a mythical square in Nice. So 4 stars for the whole:
Had dinner here on our last night in Nice. The old saying - look at the restaurants that are busy and you know they are good. Well we could not get a table so picked Le Flore which was not busy. The waitress was lovely and service was attentive but my Spaghetti Fruits Mer was awful, the sauce could only be described as the colour of dish water and the calamari was a very strange colour - I tried one but was a bit slimy not sure if they were fresh or frozen. I left most of it and was not even asked if I enjoyed it. On the other hand my daughters Chicken was lovely although she said must have been a underfed one as not much on it. When we left and walked up the street a gentleman was sitting with the most lovely dish of Spaghetti Fruits de Mer and I thought that is what mine should have looked like. Would not go back. I think in Nice you need to do your homework, we had but still got caught out.
We went there for breakfastNothing spectacular or special about this placeGood service and decent service.
