Le BaR'Oc - Nice

We popped in here for a couple of pre dinner drinks. It's November, it's cold, and it was warm inside!!! While only 1 red wine was on offer, it was the most interesting red wine I've tasted, with a fruity flavour and a tangy Aftertaste. Really delicious. After our second glass we were offered a top up... " my turn " our host said. Who are we to argue with that!!! He then recommended a lovely local restaurant and rang to make us a booking. While we thought we had been done... the restaurant was lovely!! So all in all a wonderful experience at this wine bar!!

This is a great place to hang out with friends or even solo on one of the bar stools. The interior is trendy, nicely done, the service is good plus there is a terrace outside. Ideal for a laid back evening - open late too.

A must if you are looking for a place to have a drink with friends with a nice atmosfere and good quality. The owner and the stuff were very kind.

This is a quiet little place in the Nice port area, the part often referred to as "behind the church," since it's the district located north of Notre Dame du Port on the port. The barmen make good cocktails, and there is a better-than-average wine list: most local bars serve very run of the mill wines, surprisingly. Le BaR'Oc is worth a visit before or after sampling one of the great local restaurants- or like me, on its own some evening.

I have been to this very cool spot many and I can not say enough positive comments about Mathidle and Sacha. They make this bar fantastic! Although I speak little French they have ALWAYS been so patient and kind and that is why I continue to return and also bring all my friends from abroad that are looking for a beautiful sheek atmosphere with a friendly staff. I LOVE this place and will continue to patron this establish while living in Nice.
