While only 1 red wine was on offer, it was the most int... read more We popped in here for a couple of pre dinner drinks. It's November, it's cold, and it was warm inside!!! While only 1 red wine was on offer, it was the most interesting red wine I've tasted, with a fruity flavour and a tangy Aftertaste. Really delicious. After our second glass we were offered a top up... " my turn " our host said. Who are we to argue with that!!! He then recommended a lovely local restaurant and rang to make us a booking. While we thought we had been done... the restaurant was lovely!! So all in all a wonderful experience at this wine bar!!

The barmen make good cocktails, and there is a better-than-average wine list: most local bars serve very run of the mill wines, surprisingly. Le BaR'Oc is worth a visit before or after sampling one of the great local restaurants- or like me, on its own some evening.

The surroundings and the music are also a great features of the bar. The owners went out of their way to accommodate us and tend to our needs throughout the night and the rest of the staff were also very helpful. We will definitely be visiting again! Thank you for the hospitality! David
