This was a very good meal in NiceIt was a nice change of pace.
We had high hopes for this new-ish restaurant in Nice. I ordered a chicken barbecue and my husband ordered the fish soup. Both dishes looked beautiful when they were served and the portions were large. However, my meal was way overcooked, the chicken was dry, and the fried potatoes were soggy. My husband's dish was bland and the shrimp were soggy. I am hoping that we just got two marginal meals and other TA customers seem to have gotten good meals. However, for us, the meals were not good.
Had a dinner in here. Reasonable price for good quality food. All dishes were good, beef was a littlebit chewy though. Lowest price we paid for 4 persons for a dinner in France so far.
The fish soup was very tasty with nice oven baked croutons, cheese which melted nicely and a nice spicy rouille. The main course of lamb chops and grilled sirloin were OK, nothing amazing. You get a huge pile of oven baked potatoes and peppers which could feed 4 with ease. The service was very nice.
Wow is the word!The food was fantastic and the amount too much. Steak tastier than most we ever tried with amazing potatoes and vegetables. It cost only 29 euros for the two of us and we could hardly stand up we were so full. We had to walk for over 2 hours afterwards!Also the service was super friendly and very attentive so full marks all round. Easily our favourite meal in Nice so far.
