Little restaurant near the center of Nice, where we had a great welcomeMeals are fresh, home made and delicious and prices are not expensives.
My friends and I ordered the risotto and the duckEverything we tried was delicious and tasted great.
This beautifully run family restaurant has the charm of being at a friend's dinner party and the cuisine of being in a 5* restaurant. We had both lunch and dinner here. We cannot wait to revisit Nice and spend a pleasant evening at this unexpected, unpretentious and yet sumptuous restaurant.
If fine dining (the menu its quality in a cozy atmosphere (the restaurant where passion (floor kitchen service relates to your utmost satisfaction (both your tastebuds your wallet , then you may want to check out L 'Anis Étoilé. Nothing ravishing on the outside nor the inside but you 'd be getting a 1-star Michelin (if not more service quality. Food is tastefully presented of fresh market produce. The prawns risotto (19€ is the best risotto I 've ever tasted-yes, its creamy like a risotto should be AND light! The velvety pumpkin chestnut soup (11€ is rich in taste with small bites of Corsica 's Lonzo ham. We 're so happy of our unexpected find of this piece of tastebud jewel during our visit to Nice truly hope that you 'd enjoy it as much as we did. Feel free to drop us your feedback on L 'Anis Étoilé. We 're a curious bunch nb: Photos taken on our return trips in July August 2020
