As always, the best hamburger in Nice. Sea Bass was excellent as well. Staff are great. Location hard to beat.
We had a reservation in hand. And a Smartbox (never was a fan of this Smartbox system) so this meant a set menu, with set courses (you cannot choose from the menu) which is a pity to me; After a kir blanc, and some delicious amuses bouche we had a melon soup (cold). Followed by a fish quenelle (very good) and then a fresh cod (dos de cabillaud) with fresh summer vegetables very good and served on pre heated plates as it should be. Dessert was red fruit on a sponge cake also good. The wine choice was a Chaberts Rosé at 42 euros a bottle; A good choice. The service was friendly and curtious.
There is a theaterplay in Nice, dine avec cons, have not seen it. But dinner at L Ane Rouge in Nice port was a bit like that. Wine list not updated. We ordered two steaks for 30 euros, but was recommended another steak. What they forgot to till US wad that it was 90 euros. On the other hand it was the best steak I have had in Nice, but not Kobe beef.

The service is of a very high standard and the waiter was very helpful. The desserts are delicious. But the prices are incredibly high. An incredible cuisine is expected for these prizes, but unfortunately it is not worth it. I advise you to pay attention to nearby restaurants with a Michelin rating, the prices are cheaper, the quality is higher.
