Not the cheapest place to... read more Absolutely loved it, it was like stepping back in time of the années folles. Had a champagne cocktail in the bar outside before hand. Not the cheapest place to go for a pre dinner drink but well worth it. The food itself at La Rotonde was delicious, well presented, and although the service was a little slow and disorganized at times, they more than made up for it by their pleasant and professional attitude. Our sweet was a bit late coming, but they offered us coffee and a cocktail as a way of an apology. Can't ask for any more than that when a mistake is acknowledged and rectified straight away. The building itself is indescribable, absolutely grandiose and must be seen. Will probably visit again before we leave Nice.

We sat outside on the terrace and it was perfect. I had some kind of fish which was very good and a passionfruit mille feuille which I am still dreaming about. Highly recommend!
