Visited Nice couple of weeks ago whilst in Provence just to add support to their efforts after the attack.After walking the promenade with lots of works under w... read more Visited Nice couple of weeks ago whilst in Provence just to add support to their efforts after the attack.After walking the promenade with lots of works under way clearly to provide more security we wandered off the main area.Whilst checking our map outside the fire station a very helpful fireman asked if he could assist and when asked gave us directions to a restaurant only a few hundred metres away in a side street.It was very pleasant, good value menu,staff were excellent and judging by the number of locals it is well used by townspeople. I was pleased to find that they supplied endless bottles of chilled water, (a trait many English restaurants could well to copy)Well worth a visit if you are in the town.
