La Goulette - Nice

Sat by the port enjoying watching the world go by. Food, drinks service really good. I had the streak chips which was plentiful and delicious.

It was my first time eating couscous and I enjoyed it so much! I especially liked the spicy sauce and the sausage was delicious. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere of the store is great! They said they would open at 12, so I went accordingly.

An authentic Tunisian restaurant! Delicious, refined while being generous in its portions. The meats are tender and beautiful. The decoration is very cute and the manager is adorable! If you want to eat couscous in Nice, don't hesitate! The mint tea is a must-try, and the orange blossom crème brûlée is succulent.

Bon petit restaurant, avec une belle terrasse d été couverte, sur le boulevard. prix correct, qualité et accueil à la hauteur, peut être la quantité un peu courte. sinon cela reste un endroit agréable.

We were walking past La Goulette last week, tired, wet from the rain and a bit grumpy. I looked at the outdoor seating area and saw folks enjoying their food...saw the sign for couscous and though that this may be the thing to lift the mood. I was so right!! My family has never had authentic couscous and I hadn't had it since a visit to Morocco...we had such an excellent experience with the meat, the veggie soup and the fresh couscous. The eating experience not only put the day on the map but gave us a wonderful story and experience to share. To note, we had a baby with us and the staff was very accommodating and friendly. They offered bread, a booster seat, and smiles. If we were to find ourselves in Nice again, we would definitely return for more amazing food!
