The are lots of restaurants to choose from and we decided to look for somewhere off the beaten track. A lot of the restaurants have an Italian bias given the proximity of Nice to Italy and the history of the city.When we looked at the menu it was italian but there was a good choice so we decided to give it a try.I particularly like risotto but am generally disappointed as it is a dish that has to be cooked fresh. I was not disappointed - the risotto pescatore was as good as the best I had eaten elsewhere. My wifes duck was cooked to perfection. Desserts were very enjoyable.We had a very good 2 hour experience helped by the fact that we were able to sit outside even in mid October. We will definitely go back on our next visit to Nice. We thought it was very good value with good service and ambience.
