The availability of hot dishes, grills, roasts, crepes/galettes are promoted on screens: one orders and pays at the caises, and then go to the hot food servery to collect your order. We had simple salads, bread, cold desserts, and a glass of wine to fortify ourselves before shopping in Carrefour. We had no difficulty finding a place to sit, and it was easy to get cold water. The ambience is friendly, and it is not disturbed by intrusive music. Service at the caises quick and polite. The tables are cleared and cleaned promptly and thoroughly.
We went for a late lunch at 3pm. The restaurant was not too busy as the mad lunch rush was finished, but there was plenty of food coming from the kitchen onto the buffet. Flunch basically lets you order a meal and then you can take sides from their buffet which include chips, potatoes, vegetables and other nice things. The kids menu is brilliant!! The children get to use a touch screen to choose and make up their meal- which they loved doing. They were so proud at ordering and deciding their own lunch in that way. If you order a coffee- it is not a fresh one, but one from a machine similar to McDonalds. The food is really delicious- we all loved it! Absolutely the best place to eat in Carrefour!! It is also cheap- definitely worth the money. The people working there are also really friendly.
