Had white wine with my baked fish, rice and potatoes; server forgot I wanted an appetizer but as it was the end of the night, I decided to let it be. Immediately got buzzed from the wine, which was pleasant. Thinking of this meal now; it was quite expensive for quality, both in service and food.
A very good restaurant with authentic Portuguese dishes, not a huge selection but just the right amount. I loved the Polvo a Lagareiro – it was just like back home. The bitoque de porco was excellent.
I ate authentic bacalhau, a Portuguese specialty, at this restaurant. It's dried cod, served with potatoes, cooked in olive oil and garlic. There's also an onion and olive sauce with parsley that accompanies the dish. The desserts are homemade. I had an incredible mango mousse. I highly recommend it!

Walked in off the street after finding this restaurant on the internet and we were seated straight away, given complimentary bread, cheese and water. Food was fabulous and an extremely large portion. Every meal is cooked freshly on the grill next door. With wine for 2 and main meals for 3 it cost around €45. An absolute bargain for lovely food.
It's sure not vegan but what a feast of barbecued meat ! I had a steak the size of Texas accompanied by salad, delicious rice and a potato and all this for a price anyone can afford in a lively atmosphere where we talked to each other from table to table.
My wife and I live near this restaurant and every so often when the cupboards at home are bare we stop in for generous portion the grilled chicken, chips, rice and salad. I've also on occasion had the daily fish special and I've never been disappointed. Cok Bafa serves up good food at reasonable prices.
By far one of the best Portuguese restaurants in Nice !! According to my Portuguese friend, the food looks alot like the one you eat in Portugal. The portions are huge! The dessert is delicious! Very satisfying! Highly recommended!
Cok bafa is very nice. The food and the deserts : : : are typical portuguese food. They also have some brasilian plates as well. In particular, the plates with fish are quite good, the fish being quite fresh. And don't forget to ask what they have outside the menu because you can miss some good treats. Hint: they also serve typical francesinhas. A friend told me the francesinhas are quite good, but I missed it last time because they are not in the menu : . The people serving there are very nice and friendly, speaking french, portuguese and english at least without problems. The prices are very accessible, specialy when compared with other places in Nice.

The meals are sufficient and give good value for the spent money. the ambiente is beneficial and the staff is nice. it has become my go-to restaurant, if I can't cook, try its definitiw.
Pretty good portugese food, not expensive, big portions. they also play live music, creating a good, cheerful athmosphere
It was one of the worst restaurant experiences ever. Food was average and the pork was undercooked. We ordered mixed meat, cod with potatoes, vegetarian salad, etc. The salad was not rich something that could be put together by a kid. We were not given any menu and given 3 optons to choose from. At the end we were charged 8 euros for the 2 small plates of few tiny pieces of baguette n butter kept on the tables as we waited for them to take orders. After pointing it out and asking they said it was the cost of cheese that we never ordered. We were able to the correct bill with charges for the bread only. Usually restaurants offer the bread n butter/olive for free. Worst thing was the hygiene. One of our friends feel sick after eating the food and left for home within 30 minutes of eating the food leaving plate half way through. As we checked out we could look into the kitchen and see how superficially they cleaned plates m spoons without any dish washing soap in hasty manner. They also added ingredients to boiling pots without any rinsing or washing, or atleast it appeared so, as we waiting in our group to pay the bill one by one. We joked about catching some infection looking at the way they don't wash anything properly. Few hours later 2 people from the group were sick with severe abdominal pain and upset stomachs where in one even passed out due to the infection contacted through the dinner.
