Brasserie La Civette Garibaldi oozes with the authenticity of a small family-owned restaurant. The older couple at the next table enthusiastically told us it was the best family-owned restaurant in Nice. Hard to argue with them or the numerous locals who frequent the establishment. The service was attentive, the food was tasty and a good value. No pommes frites here, the crispy fish was accompanied with the rich flav... View all feedback.
What Colin D doesn't like about Civette Garibaldi:
Only ordered beer and coffee so we could sit in away from the current cloud burst. Finished up ordering a croque toasted ham and Cheese . A bar with snacks rather than a restaurant, but served its purpose. View all feedback.
After our visit to Eze, we stopped here for a late lunch. The spaghetti pomodoro, nicoise salad and house wine were good. Our friends were not so lucky with their carbonara.
We called in here for a snack. The food was good, as was the service. There is a snack menu as well as an a la carte.
This is more of a bar serving snack food. A quick stop for a pichet of rose and a portion of very good freshly made socca hit the spot. Quick and friendly service and a great, if noisy place to people watch. If you go there expecting an upmarket lunch you'll be disappointed!
Pizza available only as slices. Pizza taste below avarage, price above average. Not best place to eat. People were playing chess rather than eating.
