Ordered Chicken A... read more Trip Advisor reviews were wildly inaccurate about this restaurant. The food was awful. We started off with bread drizzled with balsamic. Yuck. Ordered Chicken Ala Rolande since reviewers liked it. It was the skinniest chicken roasted with a nasty sauce. Even the lemon tart was lousy. We had to go get a pizza after this meal. I am so sorry I wasted our money, but most importantly, our time for great French foods on this terrible restaurant.

This r... read more My Nice friends have told me not to review this place as it will only get too busy and then be packed out by tourists. But I think the secret is now out. This really is the locals, local. The menu is significantly left field in order to fox the tourists. No salad nicoise, no steak tartar or boring pizza and pasta dishes. In fact I honestly believe the menu is purposefully odd in order to put off tourists. Several dishes I had to ask for an interpretation and I usually know my way around a menu.Yes, its exceptionally cheap and cheerful. The owner is a character and worth a visit just to experience his persona. Carefullly check out the artworks on the walls and you may even see more of the owner than you bargained for!The decor is at first haphazard even derelict. But upon closer inspection you realise there is method in the madness of this oh so quirky restaurant. I just love it.

Now for the food: We had Steak de... read more We had a really great time at this fun and friendly restaurant. If you like places with a personal touch, Chez Moi is spot on! Now for the food: We had Steak de Boef au Roquefort, which was perfect and Cannelloni Ricotta Epinards, which was also very nice. We tried three different desserts: Tarte au Citron, Mousse au Chocolat and Nougat glace'. Sooo yummy all of them! We will definitely be back.
