I recommend it and will take friends there again.

Very quiet and relaxing atmosphere, simple but fresh and tasty food, excellent value for money!!

It's open during museum hours to in th... read more In the garden of the Chagall museum, with tables shaded by olive trees, this is a great place to have a snack or a drink. It's open during museum hours to in the summer) although you don't have to go into the museum...itself to visit La Buvette. The menu is mainly snacky sandwiches, burgers, salads, croque monsieur but there is daily special. We visited three times in a week and everything we had was fresh, tasty and not expensive either. You can also go there for a coffee, a beer or a glass of wine. Staff are friendly too. Cimiez doesn't have many places to eat so this is a welcome little haven of peace to visit.

Huge, fresh sandwiches and chips good value although I would have liked a little lettuce or tomato on my cheese sandwich but was advised it would be a good few euros extra...so didn't bother.

We asked for something not sweet. The apple pie he brought out was literally the sweetest I ever tried. On top of that, we were asked to leave the place 12 minutes before the museum was supposed to close, even though our beers and tea were not finished and our bill was already closed. Visit the museum, but don’t spend a cent in the cafe. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 5
