The walk to the train station could be a little car if you have luggage. The hotel was safe and the people were friendly. Got our laundry done there at a reasonable price.

However, it is in a pedestrian zon... read more The apartment has a great location few steps from plaza massena and walking distance to the beach and many other attractions. However, it is in a pedestrian zone therefore is very difficult to access with luggage. The apartment was a very good size and we got one with balcony where you can seat, relax and people watch. The kitchen was well equipped. The bathroom needs some improvements, shower does not have a partition and when you shower the entire bathroom gets wet. It was clean. Staff was very friendly and provided assistance.Overall it was good value.

Even better are the extremely helpful front desk people, especially Isabel and Jose. They speak Italian, English, Spanish, and German, and about 10 other languages, and help with everything. Your own personal, knowledgable concierge. The building is old, and the rooms are very average. Think of an old ski lodge with lots of wood, and this describes your Ajoupa apartment. If you're looking for a modern flat during your stay in Nice, do not stay here. -No maid service, but when you need new towels they'll exchange fresh ones for you -Fast free wifi -Lots of restaurants located within 100m -Very quiet; feels like you're the only guest in the entire building -Self-service trash (located at the bottom of the elevator shaft on floor zero) -Great price for a room considering the A+ location in Nice -You're about a 5 minute walk to Vieux Nice (Old Town) -You're 100m from the nearest streetcar stop Enjoy your stay! Nice is an amazing city...
