Village Bake House Niantic

Really not a fan of this place. Tried to go here on a Tuesday,(they are always closed mondays), and they were closed. I went on Wednesday and they were open. The inside of the place is kinda depressing, the food case was almost empty. They only had prices on half the menu. The lady behind the counter acts and looks like she just ran a marathon and can't be bothered. I ordered a bacon egg and cheese. The bacon was bad, really bad very cheap quality. The biggest sign that this place is bad is that they open at 9am. What place that serves breakfast opens up at 9am? A really bad one.

Good food but consistently can’t get anyone on the phone to place an order even though I call during normal business hours.

Whether it's a breakfast sandwich, or our go to wraps and soups, Village Bake House ALWAYS delivers the best food and at great prices. We here at Grota Solna absolutely love everything Michelle and her team have to offer, and can't recommend them enough.

Amazing breakfast sandwiches. So fresh and they have the best hot tea! Not many places serve mighty tea leaf. It’s the small details in everything they make.

Cute little cafe type spot with limited indoor and out door seating. Great sandwich offerings, fresh bagels, limited juice offerings (could not get plain cranberry juice). The place seems to draw a good crowd which is always a good sign. Not sure why but they deliver your counter order to your seat instead of waiting at the counter. My egg and cheese sandwich was bountiful. I gave 4 stars because they seemed to be out of some choices such as a hard roll for the sandwich. All they had was a croissant at 11am.
