While the pizza is loaded with toppings and the sauce is delicious, some found the base too watery, and the mozzarella chewy. The customer service has also been criticized, with some claiming discriminatory practices. On the positive side, the crust is described as being on point. The decor is simplistic but inviting, and the staff is friendly and attentive. The pizza is fresh and delicious, making it a great option for those looking for Neapolitan-style pizza. Pricing is a bit high, but the overall experience is worth it.
While the restaurant was charming and the staff was very friendly, we were disappointed to find that the pizza bases were soggy. I ordered the California Dreamin' and my husband ordered the Canadian, both of which were generously topped and had a delicious tomato sauce. However, the watery consistency of the sauce made it difficult to enjoy, and the dough lacked any texture. As individuals with Italian backgrounds who have visited Italy multiple times, we were surprised by the poor quality of the pizzas. The mozzarella, advertised as fresh, was actually chewy and rubbery. Despite the certification of the pizzaiuolo and the promise of Neapolitan authenticity, our dining experience was ultimately underwhelming.
Some of the best Neapolitan pizzas I’ve ever had. Amazing ingredients and authentic style. I’ve lived in NYC for years and have traveled to Italy a few times and this is the real deal.
At 50 bucks for 2 medium pizzas, i expected better : ! I'm a big guy 6'6 at like 255) so take this for what its worth, but I'm still starting after those 2 pizzas lol : ! The pizza was drastically watery and very visible via pics... Water was sitting on the top of one of the pizzas more than the other but both sauces shoulda been boiled down further : ... Both pizzas were Margarita, so it's possible the Buffalo mozza wasn't dried strained properly, but whatever it was it definitely spoiled the experience as it made the whole pizza bottom soggy and drenched like a flooded basement. The sauce also lacked flavor seasonings. Don't get me wrong, i like an old school approach to italian sauce wether spaghetti or pizza sauce, but this sauce lacked pizzaz. 2 speak on my credentials lol... Ive made hundreds of pizzas myself at home, have eaten thousands literally lol) of pizzas and grew up in an italian household!!! I've only had 1 addiction in my life, and that's pizza!!!!! I will say this though, the crust is undoubtedly on point!!! Nailed it and wouldn't change a thing!! Nice thin, chard beautifully, soft but chewy crust, truly a work of art lol...
Great pizza, got take out. Only tried the pizzas that didn't have tomato sauce but I'm sure they're all great. Pizza was ready very quickly.
This is a great pizza restaurant (no pasta) with warm and attentive service. The pizza was delicious, with a thin crust. The selection of wines by the bottle is reasonably priced compared to other venues in Niagara on the Lake.
