I came to this hotel for a work training course and I must say that it is the best hotel I have ever stayed in. The service, food, and amenities were all exceptional. View all feedback.
What Neva Leffler doesn't like about Lobby Cafe:
You're here for show, you're hungry, or it's intermission. It's great that one can buy freshly made sandwiches and decent cake. Local wine available . Coffee or tea. View all feedback.
We ate in the lobby at the Festival Theater before a matinee. We had not preordered. We had come early to get parking, and were quite surprised that almost all of the nice salads were gone, about an hour before the performance. Also, chairs and little tables get filled up very quickly with those waiting for a performance. Our tuna sandwich was not particularly good. Our friend, who had arrived earlier, had a very nice looking salad. Prices are reasonable. But we would rather go across the street to Zees and pay more for a more interesting meal. However, you can get beverages, including coffee with refills, and a dessert for a reasonable price.
If you want a quick snack to eat before the theatre starts, try the Lobby Cafe. They serve beer, wine as well as some other drinks along with good sandwiches, pastries etc.
When visiting the Festival Theatre at the Shaw, stop in at there cafe. They always have fresh coffee and treats on hand.

Always enjoyable to enjoy a snack and glass of wine before the play. However, the menu is limited, the supply of food is depleted quickly, and is a little pricey
