We stopped in Little Red Rooster at the end of our vacation in Niagara-on-the-Lake on the recommendation of my parents. It's a nice casual place with a good menu. I enjoyed the french toast and the kids loved the chocolate chip pancakes. The portions were generous and our waitress was attentive. View all feedback.
What Peggie Muller doesn't like about Little Red Rooster Restaurant:
We went for an early dinner after golf game. We ordered two hot turkeys and two hot beefs. In both cases they arrived cold not even lukewarm. Service was very courteous but the food leaves a lot to be desired. We would not be coming back. View all feedback.
Good seating available Menu items inconsistentOrdered egg white omelette but was told kitchen too busy to accommodate Arrived at 11:30 am on weekend. Breakfast was OVER although we requested it. They said no. We left. Went to Silks restaurant few blocks away where they serve all day breakfast

We ate there 2 days in a row. We were totally satisfied with our meals. For myself I found everything to be great except for the breakfast sausages which are very fatty and the fact that pancakes should be served with maple syrup. Other than that service was fast and courteous. I would return here to eat as well as recommend it to others.
Went for Sunday breakfast with another family. There were 9 of us (4 adults, 5 kids).Started off with the servers complaining about clearing off the table when parents don't clean up after their kids. Hello!!!! That's why parents bring their kids to restaurants!Waitress took our order and then disappeared! No refills on coffee or water and we waited almost 45 minutes for our breakfast. The table beside us, a group of 6, got their food before us even though they arrived after us. Had to go to the manager to make sure our waitress was still alive. She was!The kids were getting restless so my wife and daughter went for a walk and found some kids menus and crayons. The servers gave the kids NOTHING!Eventually our food arrived. The bacon was cooked perfectly, and the eggs were done correctly. The potatoes were very bland, but the worst thing about the breakfast was the syrup. What breakfast restaurant in Canada does not serve maple syrup with their pancakes? The syrup was plain and tasteless. We are in the Niagara area often, but we will never go back!
Thought we would give them a second chance. Not worth it. Service terrible, food terrible and the place is run down. We heard Jimmie Lai had bought this restaurant and hopefully, that is true. Anything would be an improvement.
