The Gate House Bistro

A great way to spend New Year’s Eve is at The Gate House; very much enjoyed the live piano music.

The service and food were top notch, but a bit pricey.

We recently dined at this restaurant for their Christmas breakfast with Santa. We were eager to take part in the event, especially after hearing positive reviews from fellow Instagram users. Unfortunately, our experience was not pleasant. We were neglected for 15 minutes after being seated, and despite waiting patiently, no server approached our table. Eventually, I had to go to the bar where four servers were standing around and inquire about our server. The hostess then came over, apologized, took our coffee order, but still no server appeared. When the server finally came to our table, they did not apologize or introduce themselves, but simply asked if we were ready to order. Since we had our 16-month-old child with us, we placed our order immediately. Throughout the meal, we were not offered any coffee refills, asked about our food, or checked on until our plates were empty and the server requested to clear them. The bill was promptly brought to us, and the server hovered as we paid. We spent $140 on breakfast and received subpar service. Although it was nice to see Santa and take photos, the overall experience was disappointing and we would not dine here again.

There is no restaurant serving anything at this location!! We arrived and there were no tables set up, the staff seemed surprised and did not even know that we had a reservation! Absolute disaster.
